What you agree to when you come to a table, and what the club undertakes to do in return.
Purpose
Tablez Club organises tables (dinners, lunches and masterclasses) bringing together independents and entrepreneurs in Paris. Taking part means accepting these terms and the table rules.
Application and invitation
Applying is free and commits you to nothing. Tablez Club may decline an application without having to give a reason, and replies within seven days. An invitation is a date we offer you: you can decline it with no consequences.
Booking
A seat is booked online by buying a ticket whose price, all taxes included, is shown before payment: €15 for a dinner or a lunch. The masterclass is free for active members, meaning those who have already shared a table. The amount of the ticket is then deducted from the guest’s bill at the restaurant. The meal itself is paid directly at the restaurant: each guest pays for what they ordered, at the establishment’s prices, an estimate of which is given on the format page.
Cancellation and refunds
A booking is refunded in full if you cancel up to 72 hours before the table. After that, the ticket is not refunded, but you may pass your seat on to another member or move it once, provided you inform the club at least 24 hours before. If Tablez Club cancels or postpones a table, tickets are refunded in full or moved, as the guest chooses. Under article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to a leisure service provided on a specific date.
Conduct
Guests undertake to follow the table rules. Tablez Club may exclude, without a refund, anyone whose behaviour harms other guests or the restaurant.
Liability
Tablez Club introduces people to one another and books restaurants. The club is not a party to any professional or personal relationship that may arise between guests.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution; the guest may then refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator whose contact details appear on the booking confirmation.
